Dr. Jordan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University. She is originally from Birmingham, AL. After completing her undergraduate degree in Economics in Boston, she then worked in healthcare administration in the United Arab Emirates before obtaining her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. After completing residency training at the University of South Carolina's Palmetto Health Emergency Medicine Residency, she joined Vanderbilt in 2017 where she completed a fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound. Her academic interests include health systems operations & finance, health care equity, education, global health and the application of point of care ultrasound in low resources areas internationally.
