Originally from Maryland, Dr. O'Shea went to Emory University for medical school, where he was inducted into the AOA honors society. During medical school, he attended Rollins School of Public Health and completed his MPH, with a focus on Health Policy. During his residency and Chief Residency at Vanderbilt, he has won several teaching awards, including the House Staff Clinical Teaching Award. His areas of interest include undergraduate medical education and he currently serves as the Assistant Director of UME Clinical Electives. During his free time, he enjoys playing music, hiking, and spending time with his wife, dog, and son.
