Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine?
I was lucky to get a sneak peek of VUMC on an away rotation and immediately fell in love with the program. It was clear every resident here is family, and readily accepting of new-comers even as a visiting student. Additionally, the training here is exceptional. The attending physicians are eager and enthusiastic to teach, the residents take any spare minute to add in a learning moment (and were so knowledgeable often sounded like they were reciting from a textbook), and the patients brought in so much complexity and diversity. I knew VUMC would prepare me to be the best physician, educator, and human I can be.
