Why did you choose VUMC  Emergency Medicine?

VUMC Emergency Medicine’s Global Health work in Guyana was one of the first things that caught my eye, but I have been continually impressed as I learn more about the program. Ultimately, I chose Vanderbilt based on my interactions with the faculty and residents
-- Everyone I spoke with not only struck me as a incredibly smart, passionate, and competent, but also as authentic and caring. I couldn’t imagine a better place or group of people to train with.

What are your interests within Emergency Medicine?

Global EM, SIM, Ultrasound.

What would you be doing if you weren't doing Emergency Medicine?

Probably still teaching English abroad.

What's your 5-year plan?

After graduating, I want to pursue fellowship and a career in academics with an emphasis in resident/medical student education.

What's a random fact about you?

I taught English in Japan for 2 years.
