Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine?

I love how passionate every single person at Vanderbilt is and how important resident education is to this program. I felt like training here I would not only become an excellent clinician but there is a huge emphasis on professional development and cultivating leadership. I also felt like there are endless opportunities to explore any interests that I had within Emergency Medicine. Nashville is also an awesome place to live!

What are your interests within Emergency Medicine?

Critical care, medical education, sports medicine, ultrasound

What would you be doing if you weren't doing Emergency Medicine?

I would love to be an NFL announcer or referee

What's your 5-year plan?

I want to pursue a fellowship, and then I am hoping to work in an academic setting where I can teach both residents and medical students.

When I was in high school I played Gabriella in our school's performance of High School Musical
