Fellowship Director, Division of Emergency Ultrasound

Dr. Rupp is originally from Archbold, Ohio. He went to college at Taylor University, medical school at Wright State University, and residency at Indiana University. He joined the faculty at Vanderbilt to complete an ultrasound fellowship and then a global health fellowship. After fellowship, he remained on the faculty. He and his wife, Kelsey, love living in Nashville and just welcomed their first child, Finn. 
 
Dr. Rupp’s academic interests are point-of-care ultrasound, global health, and especially ultrasound in global health. He serves as the Program Director of the Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship. Outside the emergency department, he enjoys spending time with his family and outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, and paddle boarding.
