Jared J McKinney is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Associate Program Director at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. McKinney graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He then completed a residency in Emergency Medicine and an EMS Fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Since completing fellowship, and becoming board certified in Emergency Medical Services, Jared has become an Associate EMS Medical Director for the Nashville Fire Department, Medical Director for LifeFlight Critical Care Ground Transport, and Medical Director for LifeFlight Event Medicine. Jared is Director of the EMS Division at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and continues to focus on EMS education, outreach, and quality improvement initiatives.
