Originally from Maryland, Dr. O'Shea went to Emory University, where he was inducted in to the AOA honors society. During medical school, he also attended Rollins School of Public Health and completed his MPH, with a focus on Health Policy. During his residency and Chief Residency at Vanderbilt, he has won several teaching awards, including the House Staff Clinical Teaching Award. He has a particular passion for medical education and during his free time enjoys playing music, spending time with his family, and perfecting the art of doing nothing.
