William-May "Bo" Stubblefield, MD joined the faculty in August of 2019. Dr. Stubblefield is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at LSU's Spirit of Charity Residency in New Orleans, Louisiana and is currently appointed as a clinical instructor in emergency medicine and T32 research fellow under the mentorship of Wesley Self, MD, MPH. Dr. Stubblefield's research focuses on venous thromboembolic disease. He is interested in risk-stratification, prognostic biomarkers for diagnosis and treatment of acute pulmonary embolism, as well as long term functional outcomes.
