Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine?
In addition to building great EM physicians, VUMC wants to create leaders within EM and teach you to be a teacher for future generations within the field. The Vandy resident and significant others during my interview dinner gave off a palpable family feel, and the bond I've experienced with my co-residents and their families has been truly amazing.
What are your interests within Emergency Medicine?
Ultrasound, Social Medicine and Community Outreach, Sports Medicine
What would you be doing if you weren't doing Emergency Medicine?
Sports anchor or national park guide.
What's your 5-year plan?
I hope to find an area of strong interest within EM and pursue a fellowship in that niche. Ultimately, I think I want to be in a teaching role and helping form the future of EM!
What's a random fact about you?
I was named after the Polish pope, John Paul II.
