Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine?
I was attracted to the southern hospitality! It's a real thing! I loved the warmth and sincerity of the faculty and residents, witnessed the readily apparent camaraderie between residents throughout the interview day as well as the interview dinner, and the legacy of dedication to excellence in teaching.
What are your interests within Emergency Medicine?
Ultrasound, Wilderness Medicine, Medical Student Teaching
What would you be doing if you weren't doing Emergency Medicine?
I honestly have no idea.
What's your 5-year plan?
Complete residency in 2023 and either complete a fellowship vs. chief year. I ultimately see myself in academics or working in combination at an academic site and community site.
What's a random fact about you?
I played NCAA Division I softball in college.
