Why did you choose VUMC  Emergency Medicine?

VUMC EM provides excellent clinical training and focuses on resident education. It also feels like a family, which is so important during the hard work of residency.

What are your interests within Emergency Medicine?

Health Policy, care for underserved populations, wilderness medicine

What would you be doing if you weren't doing Emergency Medicine?

If still in medicine: primary care If outside of medicine: environmental advocacy

What's your 5-year plan?

Pursue a health policy fellowship, explore more national parks, spend time with family, finally succeed in keeping a basil plant alive

What's a random fact about you?

I grew up on a hobby farm with cows, horses, chickens, and several beloved semi-feral cats.
