Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine?
The collaborative and family feel of the program blew me away on my interview day. I was looking for a challenging academic environment with a focus on solid clinical teaching, and I definitely feel I found that at Vanderbilt. We also loved the Nashville area and all the opportunities outside of work.

Settling down with my family in the Nashville area, likely pursuing a fellowship, and figuring it out from there

I initially was a voice performance major in undergrad and planned on a career in opera.
