Hobbies:

Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine?
I chose VUMC EM because I was impressed by the quality of the didactics and simulations, patient acuity and complex pathology, and the friendliness of everyone I met during my away rotation. It reminded me a lot of my home institution, but I was ready to leave my college town and experience life in a more urban setting
What are your interests within Emergency Medicine?
Ultrasound, health equity/social EM, global EM, simulation, and sports medicine
What would you be doing if you weren't doing Emergency Medicine?
If I weren't doing medicine, I would probably be in a role where I could continue helping others improve their health. My decision to pursue medicine stems from a longstanding interest in fitness and the musculoskeletal system, so I could see myself owning a gym and working as a personal trainer or a physical therapist
What's your 5-year plan?
To be working in a hybrid community/academic position or traveling as much as possible through locums work
What's a random fact about you?
The only bone I have ever broken was from taking out the trash
