Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine?

I chose Vanderbilt because I was immediately drawn to the strong sense of camaraderie and community throughout the residency and department. Every person I spoke with was so excited about the program, teaching, and living in Nashville. I could really tell that Vanderbilt valued the education and experience of their residents both in and out of the hospital.

What are your interests within Emergency Medicine?

Social medicine/harm reduction, education, EMS, Ultrasound

What would you be doing if you weren't doing Emergency Medicine?

Own a food truck and travel to different cities across the country with it

What's your 5-year plan?

Finish residency and find a job where I can continue to peruse and build on my interests within EM.
