Dr. Scott was born in Lubbock, TX. She got her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina and returned to Texas for medical school at the University of Texas Southwest Medical Center. Her interests within emergency medicine are primarily focused on medical education. When she's not at work she enjoys hiking, trail running, finding new ways to entertain her dog Charlie, hanging out with her husband and co-residents, and watching North Carolina basketball.

Dr. Lacy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mount Mercy University (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) before attending the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine where he graduated as a member of the Gold Humanism Society. He completed his residency at Vanderbilt and is now serving as Chief Resident. While in residency he began working as a medical crewmember for Vanderbilt LifeFlight and obtained status as a Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine. His professional interests include residency education, research in airway management, and aerospace medicine. He enjoys soccer, the outdoors, reading, and trying new food in Nashville with Amy, his girlfriend.
